LAHAINA, Maui – The UC Irvine men's golf team completed the second round of the Ka'anapali Classic Tuesday at the Royal Ka'anapali Golf Course.

The Anteaters saw a two-stroke improvement, but dropped one spot to 19th with a two-round total of 574 (288-286).

No. 21 Oklahoma extended its lead to 12 strokes at 521 (-47). No. 59 TCU is in second (533), while No. 40 Georgia is third (536). The Sooners' Ryder Cowan passed teammate Jase Summy to top the individual leaderboard with a 16-under 126.

Senior
Rei Harashima paced the 'Eaters with his second-straight sub-70 round. Harashima had a team-best six birdies on the day to come in at 2-under 69. He is tied for 40th with a 36-hole score of 138 (-4).

Sophomore
Owen Davis-Piger followed up yesterday's collegiate career-best 68 with a 1-under 70 on Tuesday. Davis-Piger is also tied for 40th at 138.

Junior
Jason Tang carded a season-best 2-under 69 in the second round. After two bogeys and a birdie through his first three holes, Tang settled in with 12 pars and three more birdies over the final 15. He owns a two-round total of 146 (77-69).

Tommy Lin (152) and freshman
Kody Li (164) round out UCI's 5-count-4 lineup.

UC Irvine is back on the course for the final 18 holes of the Ka'anapali Classic on Wednesday. The third round is set for an 8:30 a.m. HT/11:30 a.m. PT shotgun start.
