Box Score FULLERTON, Calif. – UC Irvine had another impressive offensive outing in a 3-0 win over Cal State Fullerton (25-14, 25-15, 25-12) Thursday at Titan Gym.

The Anteaters hit .282 (44-13-110), tied for the third highest mark this season.

Defensively, UCI held Cal State Fullerton to a .000 hitting mark (20-20-119) and recorded 11 blocks for the second consecutive match. The Anteaters held a decisive 69-46 advantage in digs.

The middle blockers led the charge with Ally Bolden topping the team with 12 kills, hitting .435 (12-2-23) and had a match-best six total blocks (1 solo).

Middle blocker Sydnee Rowe tied her career-high with nine kills, hitting .571 (9-1-14). The graduate student also had four block assists.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
>Outside hitter Madison Triplett hit .412 with eight kills. She recorded 16 digs and three total blocks (1 solo)
>Outside hitter Kendra Duffey added eight kills, seven digs and three aces
>Setter Nicole Feliciano totaled a double-double with 39 set assists and 10 digs. She also had three block assists and an ace

FIRST SET
>UCI started with a block by Sydnee Rowe and Lois Hansen, an ace by Nicole Feliciano and another block by Rowe, 3-0
>Back-to-back kills by Ally Bolden on the slide increased the Anteater lead to 8-4
>UCI would lead 13-7 after two Titan errors and a kill by Hansen
>A pair of kills by Kendra Duffey and another from Madison Triplett made it 16-9
>The set was ended when Rowe would tip it softly to the right front corner then Duffey would crank a kill cross court and finally Rowe had another kill off the hands, 25-14

SECOND SET
>Bolden picked up where she left off in the first set, helping UCI to a 5-2 lead
>After a lengthy technical delay, consecutive kills from the middle by Rowe saw the score rise to 9-6
>Rowe blocked a ball to give UCI the 12-8 lead before CSUF scored three straight to close within 11-12
>UCI answered with the next four on a kill by Triplett, two Titan errors and a block by Feliciano and Bolden, 16-11
>Six more on two kills by Bolden, another by Duffey, a block by Bolden and Feliciano and two Titan attack errors stretched the lead to 22-12
>A Titan service error handed UCI the 25-15 victory

THIRD SET
>After Fullerton had the first point of the set, UCI peeled off six straight including two aces by Duffey, 6-1
>Kills by Triplett and Bolden and a solo block by Bolden extended the margin to 9-2
>Three UCI attack errors got the Titans back in the game, 5-9
>Four consecutive Anteater kills from Feliciano, Duffey, Rowe and Izzy Romero caused a CSUF timeout, 18-8
>Out of the break, UCI kept rolling with kills from Duffey and Triplett, 20-8
>The Anteaters would end the match on a Duffey ace, 25-12
