UC Irvine Places 12 On ACWPC All-Academic Teams

IRVINE, Calif. -- The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches released their All-Academic Team on Wednesday with 12 Anteaters honored. The program earned All-Academic distinction with a 3.20 team GPA.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete's head coach must be a member of the ACWPC, while the athlete must attain a grade point average above 3.20. Divided into three teams based on cumulative grade point average, athletes earns Outstanding (4.00-3.71), Superior (3.70-3.41) or Excellent (3.40-3.20) recognition.
Four 'Eaters earned Outstanding status with GPAs above 3.70 who were Jensine Bugelli, Marilynn Hassett, Brooke Hourigan, and Gabby Norris.
Four other honorees received Superior status with the group of Vivian Bailey, Kennedy East, Lauren Hett, and Annabelle Mundelius.
Four Anteaters scored Excellent honors- Jordan Frost, Maja Layden, Madi O'Hara, and Faith Tedesco.
