IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine women's soccer posted its first clean sheet of the season with goals in each half to top Pacific Thursday afternoon in Anteater Stadium, 2-0.

- A scoreless first half was broken in the 30th minute as the 'Eaters drew a penalty and Tati Fung converted for the 1-0 lead.
- The 'Eaters doubled their lead in the 63rd minute as Gianna Creighton led the charge, centered to Desiree Mendoza, and she left it for Alyssa Moore who finished inside the right post to make it 2-0
- The score held for Glo Hinojosa's 22nd career shutout and her two saves give her 170 for her career jumping to eighth in program history
- Fung scores he second career goal, both coming from the spot and both game-winners
- Moore nets her 13th career goal and 34th point to both lead active Anteaters
- Gianna Creighton added her second career assist while Mendoza added her sixth and 20th career point
