Megan Yang Leads UCI After Day 1 Of The Fresno State Classic

Fresno, Calif. – Megan Yang sits in ninth place after the first day of the Fresno State Classic at the San Jouquin Country Club.
The senior is ninth after shooting a two-round total of 145, firing a one-under par 71 on the first round. M. Yang totaled five birdies over the 36 holes.
Sophomore Charlotte Ryoo followed with a score of 150 (76-74) and is tied for 27th place. Freshman Kiana Briggs is tied for 31st after a two-round total of 151 (77-74). Briggs led the team with six birdies on the first day.
Freshman Jasmine Chen is tied for 70th with a score of 158 (78-80) and sophomore Nicole Zhang is 84th at 164 (77-87). Coco Yang played as an individual and is toed for 73rd with a score of 159 (79-80).
The Anteaters will be back in action for the final round tomorrow with an 8:30 shotgun start.
