IRVINE, Calif. - The UC Irvine men's tennis team concludes its fall season this weekend when it heads to Los Angeles for the LMU Invitational, Nov. 10-12.

The Anteaters will go up against Utah, Denver and host Loyola Marymount in both singles and doubles over the course of the three-day tournament at LMU Tennis Center.

Hiroki Sakagawa made it to the semifinals, finishing the weekend with a 3-1 record. He has six singles wins on the season, which is tied for the team lead with junior
Noah Zamora.

Zamora (6-4) competed in the So Cal Intercollegiate Championships, ITA Southwest Regional and the ITA All-American Championships, picking up two victories in each tournament. Zamora and Sakagawa have both defeated a pair of Pac-12 opponents this fall.

Enrique Luque Rico (5-2) picked up four of his five wins at the ITA All-American Championships where he advanced to the qualifying singles draw. Senior
Ali Amiri also had UC Irvine's first ranked victory of the season as he defeated No. 53 Noah Berry of Cal Poly in the Round of 64 at the ITA Southwest Regional.
