IRVINE, Calif. - UC Irvine men's tennis swept UC Riverside, 7-0, in Big West action Monday at Anteater Tennis Stadium.

The 'Eaters, who won their third match in a row, improved to 10-6 overall and 2-0 in conference. UCI secured its sixth-straight 10-win season.

UC Irvine got out to a quick start in doubles as Max Fardanesh and Rohan Sachdev took a 5-0 lead at No. 1. The Highlanders' (2-18, 0-2 Big West) duo of Lucas Ibarrando Suarez/Lucas Mszyca then got on the board before the Anteaters closed out the 6-1 victory.

Mason Bui and Ruining Huang followed suit, taking down Owen Pearson/Jovan Pedroza, 6-4, on court three to secure the doubles point. Bui/Huang teamed up for the second time this season and first since March 13 when they topped their opponents from Navy.
