STOCKTON, Calif. - The UC Irvine men's golf team wrapped up the Visit Stockton Invitational Wednesday at The Reserve at Spanos Park.

The Anteaters finished 15th with a 54-hole score of 869 (294-287-288). Grand Canyon pulled away from the field to claim the team title at 37-under. Cal State Fullerton's Tegan Andrews fired a tournament-best 63 in the final round to climb 13 spots for the one-stroke victory at 14-under 202.

Sophomore
Jin Nakao led the 'Eaters over the three-day tournament as he tied for 31st. Nakao, who was making his season debut, came in at 2-under 214 (72-71-71). He had his second eagle of the week on the par-5, 535-yard 16th hole.

Yaoting Zou had five birdies and an eagle to record a season-best 2-under 70. Zou tied for 36th with a three-round total of 215 (74-71-70).

Senior
Darien Zhao tied for 54th at 3-over 219 (75-70-74), while freshman
Jason Tang tied for 64th (221). Sophomore
Rei Harashima also tied for 86th (227).

UC Irvine will have a week off before closing out its fall season at the Kapolei Classic in Honolulu, Oct. 31-Nov. 2.
