NORMAN, Okla. – UC Irvine men's golf has been named a 2024-25 PLATFORM Golf All-Academic Team as announced Tuesday by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

UCI was one of 167 NCAA Division I programs to earn the award for having an average team GPA of 3.0 or above.

The Anteaters were recognized as a team one week after
Rei Harashima,
JJ Nakao and
Jason Tang were tabbed Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars. The trio also garnered Big West Spring All-Academic distinction in early July.

On the course, the 'Eaters tied for third at the Big West Championships, marking their best conference finish since 2019. They also won the Oregon State Invitational for their first stroke play tournament victory since 2018.
