IRVINE, Calif. – No. 12 UC Irvine men's water polo (2-4) fell 18-10 to No. 1 Cal (8-0) Friday evening.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

>Garrett Selby earned the start in goal, making five saves
>Ethan Shipman and Jasper Dale tied the lead for Anteater goals, recording three a-piece

FIRST PERIOD

SECOND PERIOD
>Shipman earned the hat-trick at 6:39, unassisted
>The Golden Bears were able to capitalize off two penalties
> Stewart Campbell scores another for the Anteaters (1:52), trailing 7-4

THIRD PERIOD
>No. 1 Cal notched five unanswered to hold a 12-4 advantage
