HONOLULU, Hawai'i --- UCI began its brief trip to Hawai'i with a 7-0 victory over Division II side, Chaminade, Friday at Keehi Lagoon Park.
Doubles dominated with a pair of 6-0 sweeps as all three doubles positions won to earn the opening point.
Singles saw straight-set wins across the board as well led by Alyssia Fossorier at No. 1, and a trio of 6-0, 6-0 victories for No. 2 Emily Fowler, No. 4 Shreya Pavani, and No. 5 Mia Totah.
The Anteaters improve to 8-10 on the season, and go into their Big West match Saturday at Hawai'i with a 1-3 conference record.

Shreya Pavani - "It was fun playing our first match in Hawai'i! Everyone stayed disciplined from start to finish and executed their game plans well. I'm excited for us to carry this energy into our match tomorrow!"
