HAYWARD, Calif. – No. 6 UC Irvine closed out the non-conference schedule with a 19-8 victory over Cal State East Bay at Pioneer Pool.
Playing in the second game of the day, 13 different Anteaters scored, recording 19 goals on 30 shots (.633). UCI did not take advantage of powerplay opportunities, going 3-10 (.300). The Pioneers scored four of their goals with an advantage.
With two goals, senior
Tara Prentice tied the school record for career goals, matching Jessy Cardey with 224 set from 2010-14.
