Bryan Clay Invitational // Beach Invitational
AZUSA, Calif. - The UC Irvine women's track & field team wrapped up the Bryan Clay Invitational Friday at Cougar Athletic Stadium.
Cathy Salazar-Gasca led a pair of Anteaters in Azusa as she ran a season-best 4:38.33 in the 1500m. Maggie Sczupak also clocked in at 4:48.49.
Over in Long Beach, UCI had three throwers in action on the first day of the Beach Invitational. Deandra Tyler (156-10) and Kassidy Sani (155-06) competed in the hammer, while Laura Lindquist competed in the javelin (112-06).
UC Irvine returns to Jack Rose Track tomorrow for the second and final day of the Beach Invitational.
