PASADENA, Calif. --- UCI women's tennis traveled to a second Division III opponent on the week defeating Caltech, 7-2, Friday afternoon.
The match started with a clean sweep in doubles play led by an 8-4 win from
Shreya Pavani and
Mia Totah and capped by a tiebreaker win at No. 1 doubles play
Alyssia Fossorier and
Jessica Tsukiji to lead 3-0.
Singles play saw the Beavers (1-2) grab the first point at No. 6 before UCI scored the next four points all in straight sets for Tsukiji, Fossorier,
Emily Fowler, and Ysabel Gonzaelz-Rico to grab the 7-2 win.
