
No. 7 UCI Falls to No. 6 Hawai’i in Big West Championship Game

LA JOLLA, Calif. – No. 3 seed UC Irvine dropped a 9-8 decision to top-seeded Hawai'i, Sunday afternoon in the Big West Championship title game at Canyonview Aquatic Center.
UCI concludes its season with a 12-8 record. UH improves to 10-1 on the season and earns the Big West Conference automatic bid to the NCAA Championships.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
> Kili Skibby led the Anteaters with two goals while Calysa Toledo, Toni Shackelford, Piper Smith, Danielle Ayala, Megan Falcon and Mica Schiavone each added one
> In goal, Morgan Jones played a complete game and grabbed nine saves and a steal
> UCI went 4-of-8 on powerplays while UH was 8-of-12
