LOS ANGELES, Calif. --- National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) squad Los Angeles Force has announced Anteater defender
Seamus McLaughlin as its newest signee to begin his professional career.
"This has been a dream of mine my entire life," noted the 'Eater center back. "I feel blessed I was able to be in a place like UCI men's soccer that prepared me so well to take this next step in my soccer career."
A native of Folsom, Calif., McLaughlin excelled on the club level training in Ireland and playing for Sac Republic Academy. He started his collegiate career off at the University of San Francisco playing 20 matches in two years there before transferring to UC Irvine.
McLaughlin chose to make the move to UC Irvine because he believed he could reach his potential in the classroom and succeed at the highest of his ability under the hungry and motivated staff with head coach

In his one season as an Anteater, he played in all 19 matches starting 17 helping toward four clean sheets and assisting on goals offensively.
Los Angeles Force begins their season April 13 in the Legends Cup with the Spring Season kicking off May 8 at home.
