UCI Falls to Cal Poly on the Road

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – UC Irvine dropped a Big West match to Cal Poly, 7-0, Sunday on the road.
UCI (0-6, 0-2) dropped its second Big West match of the season. Cal Poly improves to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in conference action.
Halla Alajeely battled at the No. 2 singles spot with CP's Kim Bhunu before ultimately falling, 6-1, 6-7 (1-10), 1-10.
Cal Poly won the doubles point and clinched the match at the No. 4 position as Arianna Tilbury fell to Delanie Dunkle, 2-6, 4-6.
The No. 3 doubles team of Dasee Carter and Emily Fowler battled with Dominique Stone and MacKenzie Worsnop as the match went unfinished, 4-3.
