Samantha Chan Signs With UC Irvine Women's Golf

Irvine, Calif. – Samantha Chan has signed a National Letter of Intent with the UC Irvine women's golf program head coach Julie Brooks announced Friday.
Chan is a 2012 second team All-Diablo Foothill Athletic League (DFAL) honoree from Campolindo High School. She was undefeated in DFAL play as a senior. Chan, who won the Marin County Junior Tournament in 2011, had one top 5, 2 top top 10 and 6 top 20 finishes in junior golf action.
"Samantha is a great addition to our team," Brooks said. "She is athletic, a solid ball striker and will contribute to the team immediately."
