California Irvine Athletics

Mari Yacoubian joined UC Irvine Athletics’ Academic and Student Services staff in 2018 and serves as the Academic & Life Skills Coordinator for women’s basketball.

Prior to UCI, Yacoubian worked at UCLA as an academic mentor for the football and baseball teams.

Yacoubian was a member of the Acrobatics & Tumbling team at the University of Oregon where she helped the Ducks to a 2014 national championship. Yacoubian graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned her M.Ed. in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership from the University of Washington.
