Jordan Cheng

Jordan Cheng is in his third year as an assistant coach at UCI.

Before coming to UCI, he served as a women's assistant coach at Concordia.

Cheng graduated from Chapman University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in business. Cheng, who founded the university's club volleyball team in 2009, played opposite and setter from 2011-13.

Following graduation, Cheng became the Director of Operations for the men's volleyball team at Pepperdine where he acted as the team's Data Volley statistician, coordinated travel and other day-to-day administrative duties in 2013-14.

He received his master's degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration serving as the men's graduate assistant coach at Concordia University.

Cheng has worked with the USA men's national team and was an assistant coach for the USA Pan Am Cup team in 2017. He has also served as the team manager with the 2016 U.S. Pan American Cup team. as well as the Technical Coordinator for the 2015 Pan American Cup team.

He was prepped at Beckman High School where he was an All-Pacific Coast League setter.

Cheng won the 2016 Huntington Beach Open and has a AAA rating on the beach for the third consecutive year.
