  • Played at Los Medanos community college
  • In 31 games, hit .385 (42-for-109) with 10 doubles, two triples, one home run, 25 RBIs, 33 runs, and 13 steals
  • Six 3-hit games and three 3-RBI games

  • Attended Alhambra High School
  • Played 52 games in to varsity seasons
  • Hit .395 in high school with 58 hits, 35 runs, six doubles, seven triples, one home run, and 34 steals in 36 attempts
    • Hit .387 as a senior with four doubles, one home run, and 12 RBIs
  • Also went 4-1 on the mound in 23 appearances with a 0.76 ERA and 53 strikeouts
  • Played forward on the soccer team as well and was team captain
