Yoo Leads Anteaters Through Two Rounds at Red Sky Classic

WOLCOTT, Colo. – UC Irvine women's golf sits tied for 15th after the second round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic, carding a 16-over 592 through 36 holes on Tuesday.
The 'Eaters shot a nine-over 297 in Tuesday's second round and have totaled 108 pars, 22 birdies and one eagle through two rounds.
Jio Yoo leads the 'Eaters, sitting tied for 22nd at two-under 142. Yoo carded a one-under 71 in both rounds and ranks tied for second in the field in par-5 scoring at 4.38. She also leads UCI with eight birdies and has recorded 22 pars.
Zoe Sprecher is tied for 42nd at one-over 145. She opened with an even-par 72 before shooting a one-over 73 in the second round. Sprecher has recorded seven birdies and 22 pars through 36 holes.
HaYoung Lee sits tied for 71st at six-over 150. Lee posted her best round of the tournament on Tuesday, firing a one-over 73. She has UCI's lone eagle of the tournament, along with 23 pars and two birdies.
Obi Chan is tied for 97th at 11-over 155. Chan's best round came Monday, when she carded a three-over 75 in the opening round. She leads the 'Eaters with 24 pars and has recorded one birdie.
Katherine Gerbing rounds out the Anteater lineup, sitting tied for 102nd at 15-over 159. Through two rounds, she has recorded four birdies and 17 pars.
UP NEXT: The Anteaters will close out the Golfweek Red Sky Classic with the third and final round tomorrow. UCI's first tee time is set for 8 a.m. in Wolcott, Colo.
