UCI Records 170 Pars, 35 Birdies at Red Sky Classic

WOLCOTT, Colo. – UC Irvine women's golf finished 17th with a 19-over-par 883 (295-297-291) at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic on Wednesday afternoon.
The Anteaters tied for third in the field with 170 pars, while recording 35 birdies and one eagle. UCI posted a 3.03 scoring average on par 3s, a 4.21 average on par 4s and a 5.05 average on par 5s.
Jio Yoo paced the 'Eaters with a tie for 34th, finishing two-under-par at 214 (71-71-72). She led UCI in par-4 scoring with a 4.07 average and paced the team on par 5s with a 4.58 average. Yoo also recorded nine birdies.
Zoe Sprecher tied for 51st at one-over-par 217 (72-73-72). She posted a 4.07 average on par 4s, recorded 34 pars and led the 'Eaters with 10 birdies.
HaYoung Lee tied for 83rd at nine-over-par 225 (77-73-75). She led UCI with 36 pars while recording four birdies and one eagle.
Obi Chan tied for 93rd at 12-over-par 228 (75-80-73). She recorded 35 pars and four birdies.
Katherine Gerbing rounded out the 'Eaters lineup in 103rd at 17-over-par 233 (79-80-74). She paced UCI on par 3s with a 2.92 scoring average while recording 27 pars and eight birdies.
