‘Eaters Sit 14th After Opening Round at Red Sky Classic

WOLCOTT, Colo. – UC Irvine women's golf sits in 14th place at seven-over par following the opening round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic on Monday.
Jio Yoo leads the 'Eaters after round one, finishing tied for 25th at one-under par 71. Yoo carded four birdies and 11 pars in her opening round.
Zoe Sprecher follows tied for 33rd at even-par 72, recording 12 pars and three birdies.
Obi Chan is tied for 71st at three-over par 75 after posting 13 pars and one birdie, while HaYoung Lee sits tied for 86th at five-over par 77 with 11 pars and one birdie.
Katherine Gerbing rounds out the Anteaters in a tie for 100th at seven-over par 79. Gerbing recorded two birdies and nine pars in the opening round.
The 'Eaters return to action tomorrow for the second round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic, with an 8 a.m. tee time in Wolcott, Colo.
