IRVINE, Calif. - UC Irvine women's basketball had two student-athletes named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Jada Wynn earned her second career honor, while sophomore
Lauryn Madsen received her first recognition.

Wynn started every game this season, averaging 15.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.7 steals. She shot 38.6% from the field, 40.2% from beyond the arc, and 86.6% at the free throw line. The 6-foot-1 guard had 27 double-figure scoring performances, eight 20-point outings, and five double-doubles. She knocked down a career-high 76 threes to rank second among UCI's single-season leaders. Wynn was named the Big West Newcomer of the Year and was a first-team all-conference selection.

Madsen, who started all 33 games, averaged 7.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 2.2 steals per contest. She climbed into the top-five in single-season school history in both 3-pointers made (3rd, 70) and steals (T5th, 71). Madsen buried five triples for a career-high 15 points on five occasions this year. On the season, 70 of her 75 made field goals were from behind the arc.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Student-athletes also must have played in 90% of the team's games or started 66% of them at the nomination deadline.
