IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine's regular season game against UC Davis on Mar.7 has been selected as the final ESPNU Wildcard broadcast. Game time has been changed to 5:00 p.m.
Following tonight's game at CSUN, UC Irvine ends the season with three home games at the Bren Events Center with two being nationally televised. This Saturday's game (Feb. 28) against UC Santa Barbara at 7:30 p.m. will be on ESPN2 along with the UC Davis game on ESPNU.
With two weeks remaining, UC Irvine (18-10, 11-5 BW) is in a three-way tie for first in The Big West standings with Hawai'i and CSUN. The Anteaters, who are currently ranked No. 20 in the College Insider Mid-Major Madness Top 25, are one of the top defensive teams in the nation.
