IRVINE, Calif. — UC Irvine women's tennis (1-3, 0-1) resumes its four-match road trip on Feb. 12 and Feb. 16 when the Anteaters take on Chapman (1-0) and Big West rival Cal State Fullerton (2-2, 1-0), respectively. 

Notes

• UC Irvine enters the final two games of its current four-match away stretch after beating Santa Clara 4-3 (Feb. 7) and falling to UC Davis 4-3 (Feb. 8)

• The Anteaters will play a 22-match slate in 2026, with eight matches being on the road

• UC Irvine will look to capture its first Big West victory of the season against Cal State Fullerton, who are 1-0 in conference play in 2026

• Maily Huynh starred for UC Irvine over the weekend against UCD and SCU, going 4-0 and winning two doubles matches along with two singles matches

Scouting Chapman

Chapman hosts UCI for a match on Thursday after only playing one dual match in 2026, a 4-3 win at home against Ottawa University Arizona. 

The Panthers enter 2026 after putting up a 4-11 dual match record in 2025, going 0-4 in conference play.

Scouting Cal State Fullerton

CSUF will continue its dual match season on Monday against UCI after a Saturday (Feb. 14) matchup with Santa Clara, a team UC Irvine beat last weekend. The Titans will look to build on an early .500 start after claiming a conference victory against UC Riverside and a non-conference win against Hawaii Pacific University. CSUF's two losses on the year have come against Loyola Marymount and Grand Canyon, both in Fullerton.

Cal State Fullerton went 10-10 in the 2025 dual match season, going 4-5 in Big West play. The Titans' season ended at the hands of CSUN, who defeated Fullerton 4-3 in the first round of the Big West Championship.
