Jada Wynn has been named to the midseason watch list for the 2026 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award presented by Her Hoop Stats.

Wynn is one of 15 athletes from 15 different teams and 13 conferences to make the list. She is the Anteaters' first representative on the watch list for the Becky Hammon Award, which is in its seventh year.

Wynn, a transfer from Texas Tech, has put up career numbers in her first year at UC Irvine, averaging 15.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists. The 6-foot-1 guard is also shooting 42% from the field, 43% from beyond the arc, and 85% at the free throw line. She has started all 18 games, reaching double figures in scoring 16 times with five 20-point performances and a team-best five double-doubles.

Wynn is one of three members on the midseason watch list averaging at least 15.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game (as of Jan. 19).

Wynn and the 'Eaters are currently on a school-record 15-game win streak. They are 16-2 overall, marking the program's best record through 18 games. They also joined the 2022-23 squad as the only two UCI teams to start the Big West season with seven-straight wins.
