IRVINE, Calif. – Senior 
Luka Krstic has been named the Big West Men's Water Polo Player of the Week the conference office announced Wednesday afternoon.
 
Krstic had a pair of multi-goal games against the top-two ranked teams in the country. Last Friday, Krstic scored twice in a 13-7 loss at No. 1 UCLA. Twenty-four hours later, he recorded his third hat trick through eight games in a 13-7 setback to No. 2 USC. Krstic was the only Anteater to score multiple goals against the Trojans.
 
For the week, Krstic finished with five goals on 10 shot attempts, while adding two assists. He now leads the team with 15 goals on the season.
 
This is the first Big West weekly award for the Anteaters this year, while it's the fifth of Krstic's career.
