CORVALLIS, Ore. – UC Irvine's offense came alive to close out the Asics Invitational with a 3-1 win over Montana State (21-25, 25-13, 25-19, 25-15) at Gill Coliseum Saturday afternoon.
UC Irvine hit .282 (55-15-142), the second highest mark of the year.
Setter
Jessica Bates, playing in only her second match of the season, recorded a triple-double with 13 kills, 11 set assists and 10 digs. Her kills and digs were career-highs.
Senior
Kendra MacDonald had a season-high 14 kills to lead the Anteaters. The outside hitter also added eight digs.
