UC Irvine Represents United States At World University Games

IRVINE, Calif. -- The UC Irvine men's volleyball team will represent the United States at the 2025 World University Games July 17-24 in Germany.
The United States will compete against Germany, Italy and Korea in Group D.
The Anteaters start the competition July 17 against Germany at Sportforum Grosse Halle. UCI takes on Korea July 18 at Ballsporthalle Kopenick before facing Italy on July 19 at Max Schemeling. Competition will then continue based on Group play results.
Former UC Irvine Athletic Director and 2025 UCI Hall of Fame inductee Dan Guerrero is the Head of Delegation for the UniUSA Team.
Opposite William D'Arcy will compete as a member of the Australian Team.
The World University Games are held every two years and are a global celebration of international university sports and culture, attracting thousands of student-athletes from around the world.
