USF Invitational

The Olympic Club- Lake Course

UC Irvine heads to the USF Invitational at The Olympic Club Monday and Tuesday (Mar. 31-Apr. 1).

Teams will compete on the Lake Course which plays Par 71 and 6,054 yards.

Play begins each day with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, playing 36 holes Monday and 18 on Tuesday.

Tournament field includes BYU, Cal Poly, UC Davis, Gonzaga, Nevada, Washington State, host San Francisco and two individuals from Stanford.

The UCI lineup features Katherine Gerbing, Alyson Sor, Katelyn Kong, Alona Avery and Kiana Briggs. HaYoung Lee and Jasmine Chen will be playing as individuals.

This is the final tournament before the Big West Championships Apr. 13-15 at the Spanish Trail Country Club.

IN THE CLUBHOUSE
Last week, UCI finished seventh at the Silicon Valley Showcase with a score of 895 (297-296-302).

Freshman Katherine Gerbing led UCI with a score of 224 (76-72-76) good for 24^th place.

Freshman Alona Avery posted a 69 on the first round, her sixth round in the 60s this season.
