IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine women's golf head coach
Margo Dionisio announced the signing of Veronica Man and Jio Yoo.
"Coach Sok and I are thrilled to welcome Veronica and Jio to our program," Dionisio said."Both are experienced, seasoned players who remind me a lot of our 2024 class. I'm excited to watch their development throughout their senior year and the summer leading into their freshman season. They each bring unique strengths that round out our team in the best way."
Man hails from Santa Margarita Catholic High School where she was a two-time First-Team All-Trinity League honoree and helped the Eagles win two CIF State Championships. Man, who was the 2023 AJGA Junior at Walnut Creek Champion, had Top 3 and Top 5 AJGA finishes in 2025. She was a three-time Future Champions Golf Champion in 2025 and participated in the Rolex and U.S. Girls Junior Championships. Man spent a year on the China Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour before returning to Santa Margarita.
Yoo is a local product of Northwood High School where she is the team captain as well as a three-time team Most Valuable Player. She placed second at the TTC Max Homa Invitational in 2024 and fifth at the event in 2025. Yoo capture a victory on the One Toyota Tour Cup and has had six top three finishes since 2024. She has a top five performance in the AJGA the last two seasons and came in fourth at the 44
th annual Bubba Conlee Junior Tournament. You participated in the California Women's Amateur at Santa Ana Country Club, advancing to the Round of 16 in match play. Yoo holds a TUGR Class ranking of 38 and JGS Class rank of 44.
