UC Irvine Women's Tennis Opens Play at Jack Kramer Classic

IRVINE, Calif. – The UC Irvine women's tennis team headed to Rolling Hills Estates, Calif. to play in the Jack Kramer Classic against programs including UCLA, USC and Fresno State on Friday.
The Anteaters swept their doubles matches on the day, winning both with combinations of Amanda Perez/Carolyna Fowler and Haily Huynh/Yen Nhi Huynh picking up victories over USC and Fresno State, respectively.
UCI took home one singles win on Friday, a Perez victory coming in two sets (6-0, 6-2).
UC Irvine will continue play in the tournament through Sunday, Nov. 2.
