IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine hit a season-high .317 in a 3-0 sweep of Hawaii (25-7, 25-17, 25-20) at the Bren Events Center Tuesday night.
The Anteaters hit .317 (34-8-82) and held UH to -.041 (23-27-97), the lowest percentage by a UCI opponent this season.
The UCI block was dominant recording 11 to Hawaii's 4. Middle blocker
Sydnee Rowe had a match-high eight total blocks (1 solo), while opposite
Lois Hansen had a career-best six block assists in the win.
Setter
Nicole Feliciano guided the Anteater offense, spreading the love as six different players recorded six or more kills. Outside hitter
Kendra Duffey led all players with 11 kills, hitting .346 (11-2-26). She also added seven digs and a block assist.
UCI has won the last three meetings with Hawaii and goes to 8-13 overall and 3-6 in the Big West. Hawaii is 7-13 and 3-6.

"I was really proud of how our team played tonight. They were disciplined and consistent over the course of the match which is something we have struggled with this season. We found our grove tonight and it was a great team win."
