SALEM, Ore. – The UC Irvine men's golf team climbed three spots into the top-10 after the final round of the Oregon State Invitational Wednesday at Illahe Hills Country Club.

The Anteaters combined for their best 5-count-4 score of the tournament with a 293. They finished ninth overall at 890 (301-296-293).

Boise State claimed the team title with a 1-over 865, while tournament host Oregon State was the runner-up at 872 (+8). The Broncos' Cole Rueck was the individual medalist, carding a 4-under 212.

Senior
Rei Harashima had UCI's only round below par as he fired a 2-under 70 through the final 18. He had three birdies against only one bogey. Harashima rose 17 spots in the standings, finishing in a tie for 21st with a 54-hole total of 220 (76-74-70).

Junior
Jason Tang, who led the 'Eaters through the first 36 holes, also registered a 220 (73-74-73) to tie for 21st.

Sophomore
Jack Yu tied for 40th with a 224 (73-75-76), while classmate
Tommy Lin (79-73-74) was two strokes back in a tie for 48th. Sophomore
Owen Davis-Piger (233) rounded out UC Irvine's lineup in a tie for 73rd.

The Anteaters will have a week off from competition before heading to Maui for the Ka'anapali Classic, Oct. 27-29. That will be their final tournament of the fall season.
