IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine track and field has finalized its 2025 outdoor schedule which features three home meets.
"Our track and field teams are looking for a major breakthrough this season," head coach
Jeff Perkins said. "With another year of development for the returners and a strong incoming class, we are looking forward to the depth we have finally been able to build over the last year. The meets we have chosen to attend will continue to enhance the growth of the group as we roll into the postseason and vie for championships."

The Anteaters open the campaign with three meets during the first week of March. The heptathletes and decathletes are set to kick things off at the Sam Adams Multis in Santa Barbara, March 5-6. That weekend, UCI will also send a split squad to Cal State Fullerton's Ben Brown Invitational and Long Beach State's Beach Opener, March 7-8.

The 'Eaters then make their home debut, hosting the Challenge Cup at Anteater Stadium on Friday, March 14.

After competing at both the Aztec Invitational and UCR Spring Classic on March 22, UC Irvine returns to Anteater Stadium for the fourth annual Vince O'Boyle Track & Field Classic, March 28-29.

UCI is on the road for the month of April, starting with UC San Diego's Triton Invitational and the Stanford Invitational (April 4-5). The following weekend, the 'Eaters will head to Azusa for the Bryan Clay Multis and to Fullerton for the Friday Night Lights meet.

The Anteaters are also slated to compete in the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 16-18), Mt. SAC Relays (April 17-19), Pacific Coast Intercollegiate (April 17) and Beach Invitational (April 18-19).

After a week off from competition, UC Irvine will host the Steve Scott Invitational, May 2-3.

The final regular season meet on UCI's schedule is the Titan Tune Up in Fullerton (May 9). The Big West Multi-Event Championships will take place that same weekend in Long Beach, May 9-10.

The Anteaters return to Long Beach for the remainder of the Big West Championships, May 16-17.

Postseason action continues for qualifying individuals and relays at the NCAA West First Round in College Station, Texas (May 28-31), and the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon (June 11-14).
