Cross Country Reveals 2025 Schedule

IRVINE, Calif. – UC Irvine men's and women's cross country have finalized their schedule for the 2025 season.

The Anteaters have four regular season meets, including three in the Southern California area, before making the trek to Hawai'i for the Big West Championships.

"We're starting local with something really low key for our group to kind of get the season going and get our newcomers' feet wet," said UCI distance coach Casey Kear. "We'll hit Riverside a couple times, and this year we're taking both the men and women to Dellinger, trying to get them ready for what both the conference and regional courses will look like since it's really our only chance to get on grass in the regular season."

The 'Eaters stay close to home for their opener on Friday, Sept. 5, as they are set to compete in the Vanguard Invitational at Mason Regional Park in Irvine.

UCI then makes its way to the UCR Ag/Ops Course for two of its next three meets with the UC Riverside Invitational (Sept. 27) and the Highlander Invitational (Oct. 18). In between their races in Riverside, the Anteaters will travel to Springfield, Oregon, for the Bill Dellinger Invitational on Friday, Oct. 10.

The Big West Championships are then slated for Friday, Oct. 31, at Queen Kapi'olani Regional Park in Honolulu. The men's 8K kicks off the conference meet at 7:30 a.m. HT/10:30 a.m. PT, with the women's 6K to follow at 8:30 a.m. HT/11:30 a.m. PT.

The NCAA West Regional will be held on Friday, Nov. 14, at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento. Qualifying teams and individuals then head to Columbia, Missouri, for the NCAA Championships (Nov. 22).
