RENO, Nev. – The UC Irvine women's indoor track & field team posted eight marks that rank among the program's all-time top-10 Friday at the Nevada Invitational/Multis.

Sophomore
Kailah McKenzie and senior
Jolie Robinson both established personal-records of 5.93 meters (19-5.5) in the long jump. They are tied for second in program history behind teammate
Reyna Johnson who set a school-record 5.97m (19-7) at last year's MPSF Championships. McKenzie took sixth in the competition, while Robinson was seventh based on their second-best jumps. Junior
Zharia Taylor (5.53m/18-1.75) and senior
Jazzmine Davis (5.45m/17-10.75) also had personal bests in the event. Taylor's distance is tied for ninth on UCI's all-time charts.

McKenzie followed her long jump performance with a fifth-place showing in the high jump. The Moreno Valley, California, native improved on her No. 3 mark in program history with an indoor PR of 1.73m (5-8). In her UC Irvine debut, junior Esmiray Demirbas cleared the bar at 1.63m (5-4.25), which is tied for seventh among the Anteater leaders.

On the track, senior
Anna Vogtmann took third in the 3000m, clocking an altitude-adjusted time of 10:00.50, which was just three-hundredths of a second off her lifetime best. Junior
Nicole Contreras (10:11.25), freshman
Cynthia Herrera (10:11.82) and freshman
Liana Lee (10:12.81) added top-10 finishes. Contreras' and Herrera's times rank ninth and 10th, respectively, in indoor school history.

Malia Gay was third in section two of the mile (5:03.42), while
Kaitlene Ofilan was eighth in her 800m indoor debut (2:21.41).

Freshman
Mikah Longcob also competed in her first collegiate meet, placing 11th in the 400m with a time of 58.12 seconds.

In the 200m, junior
Samantha Bartz crossed the finish line in a season-best 24.94, while sophomore
Sarah Ajayi notched a personal-record 25.20 to rank 10th in program history.
