Rei Harashima finished third overall to lead UC Irvine at the 2024 Big West Men's Golf Championship Tuesday at La Quinta Country Club.

Harashima closed out the 54-hole tournament at 9-under 207 (68-68-71). He came in below par in all three rounds, including a 1-under 71 through the final 18. Harashima was just one stroke back of runner-up Clay Seeber (Long Beach State) and five behind individual medalist Tegan Andrews of Cal State Fullerton.

Darien Zhao had his best round of the championship with a 71 (-1). He climbed five spots in the standings into a tie for 15th with a total of 219 (74-74-71). It was his third career top-20 conference finish.

Yaoting Zou also carded a 1-under 71 to climb into a tie for 24th. He finished with a three-round total of 222 (75-76-71).

Jin Nakao (223) was 26th and freshman
Jason Tang (224) tied for 27th.

As a team, the seventh-seeded 'Eaters combined for a 5-count-4 total of 1-over 865 (290-290-285) to place fourth. No. 1 seed Long Beach State won the title at 14-under.
