MILBRAE, Calif. – Kiana Briggs posted her second Top 20 performance of the season as UC Irvine closed out the Silicon Valley Showcase Tuesday.

The sophomore finished tied for 16^th after carding a three-round score of 228 (75-73-80) at the Green Hills Country Club. Briggs and follow sophomore Jasmine Chen each had four birdies on the final round. Briggs ended the two-day tournament with 10 birdies followed by Chen with eight birdies on her way to a score of 234 (77-79-78) which was tied for 27^th.

Senior Megan Yang was 36^th at 237 (73-80-84), junior Charlotte Ryoo was 48^th with a score of 244 (78-83-83) and junior Chanelle Hwang finished in a tie for 51^st at 247 (88-76-83).

UCI placed ninth, recording a three-round score of 935 (303-308-324). The Anteaters had 29 birdies the fourth most among tournament teams.

The Anteaters head to the Fresno State Classic Mar. 25-26, the final tune-up before the Big West Championships.
