ROCKLIN, Calif. – UC Irvine swept Jessup, 7-0, on Friday morning in their first game of their trip to Northern California.

Amanda Perez at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots clinched the doubles points for UCI with their 6-0 victories.

Carolyna Fowler and
Emily Fowler also earned a victory at the No. 1 position against Jessica Holbea/Annika Rojas, 6-2.

UC Irvine utilized a different lineup for the individual portion of the match that allowed E. Fowler and
Nour Khayat to make their first singles appearance of the season at the No. 5 and No. 6 spots, respectively.

Perez (No. 1) and C. Fowler (No. 4) along with E. Fowler and Khayat led their entire matches, all winning 6-0, 6-0.

Sophomore
Haily Huynh battled a tough opponent in Jessica Holbea in the No. 2 singles match where Huynh came out on top in the first set, 6-3, and then swept the set two point, 6-0.

Larissa Teramura improved to 3-2 in singles matches on the season, moving up to the No. 3 spot where she earned the 6-1, 6-0 victory.
