WASHINGTON, Utah -- UC Irvine started the Utah Tech Trailblazer Invitational with an opening round of 312 at the St. George Golf Course.

The Anteaters, who are in fifth place after the first 18 holes, were led by freshman Alyson Sor and sophomore Kiana Briggs with a score of 77 and are tied for 12^th place. Sor posted a team-best four birdies on Sunday.

Sophomore Jasmine Chen is tied for 18^th place with a score of 78, while senior Megan Yang is 30^th at 80 and junior Charlotte Ryoo is tied for 31^st with a score of 81.

UCI will be back in action tomorrow morning for the second round beginning with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m.
