Men's Basketball Signs Luke Isaak

IRVINE, Calif.-- UC Irvine men's basketball signs guard Luke Isaak for the 2025-26 season.

Isaak is a standout player at San Ramon Valley High School where he is a two-time Damien Classic Gold Division Champion and MVP. In 2024, the guard was a DI State finalist, DI NorCal Champion, named to the EBAL All-League First Team.

"Luke is a tough-minded scorer who has a real passion for getting better and lives in the gym," stated head coach Russell Turner. "He brings size and shooting to our backcourt along with a competitive mentality that will allow for continued growth and success during his time here. Additionally, Luke comes from a rock-solid family where both parents were college athletes. I am excited to welcome the Isaak family to our Anteater basketball family."ย

Rounding out his junior campaign with the Wolves, Isaak scored 1,000 points to average 17 points per game. At the 2024 Section 7 Tournament, Isaak averaged a near double-double with 24 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.

Isaak joins the back-to-back Big West regular season championship Anteaterย programย that is predicted to finish atop the league standings in 2024-25.
