How did you get started playing basketball?
My dad played basketball in college so ever since my sister and I were little he was coaching our teams. I just grew up with basketball in my life and continued to play it throughout middle school and high school, and it's led me to college.
 
Who has been your biggest inspiration in basketball?
I would have to say my dad; he's taught me basically everything I know so I have to give props to him. He definitely inspires me.
 
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Yeah, I played softball pretty competitively, and then I also played volleyball and golf in high school.
 
What made you pursue basketball?
Since I played so many sports, it gave me a good idea of what I liked more, and I knew I really enjoyed being on the court. Basketball was just something I saw myself doing for a while.
 
Why UCI?
My sister lives right down the street at Vanguard so that was definitely something that drew me here. Then there's the location, the coaches and the fact that UCI is a winning team, and I want to be a part of that.
