IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine men's soccer unveils its 2023 schedule today with tickets set to go on sale July 6.

UCI's schedule will have the 'Eaters playing a lot in Anteater Stadium with six non-conference contests and five of the nine Big West matchups.

Fans will get a chance to check out the 'Eaters with an exhibition match in Anteater Stadium August 15 with an exhibition match before the season kicks off with UNLV on a Thursday night, August 24, in the first of three doubleheaders early in the season featuring the men's and women's programs playing.

The 'Eaters will team up with the women's soccer program twice for doubleheaders:

• Thursday, August 24: 4:00 p.m. Women's Soccer vs. Pacific | 7:00 p.m. Men's Soccer vs. UNLV
• Sunday, September 3: 1:00 p.m. Women's Soccer vs. Sac State | 6:00 p.m. Men's Soccer vs. Gonzaga

The big ticket matchup appears Sunday, August 27, as Creighton comes to Anteater Stadium at 3:00 p.m., an NCAA College Cup participant a year ago making the final four of the NCAA Tournament. Gonzaga wraps up the trio of doubleheaders with a Sunday evening start.

UCI's September features visits from two Pac-12 programs. Stanford makes only its third trip to Anteater Stadium, second time in the regular season, and first since 2021 for a Friday night matchup, September 8. Saint Mary's follows with a Monday night matchup on the 11th, and then to finish out non-conference action, UCLA returns to play during Welcome Week, Saturday September 23.

Head Coach Yossi Raz's squad tests themselves on the road with trips to Omaha and Yale, and will make trips to UC Santa Barbara and Cal State Fullerton among the Big West road meetings.

Big West play begins September 27 at Anteater Stadium taking on the defending 2022 champions, UC Riverside. Four other Big West matches come to Anteater Stadium with UCI hosting UC Davis (10/7), CSUN (10/14), Cal Poly (10/18), and the regular season finale October 28 vs. UC San Diego.

Big West Tournament begins the first of November with men's soccer's entire tournament on campus sites with top two seeds earning a bye to the semifinals.
