IRVINE, Calif. - The UC Irvine women's basketball team has released its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
 
The Anteaters will open the campaign at home for the eighth consecutive year as they are set to host Westcliff University at the Bren Events Center on Tuesday, Nov. 8. The Warriors are coming off their best season in program history, which culminated with a trip to the 2022 NAIA Tournament.
 
The 'Eaters then start a three-game road swing with a visit to Sacramento State on Saturday, Nov. 12. The two teams squared off in Irvine last year with UCI earning a 58-51 victory. Naomi Hunt finished with a season-high 17 points and a career-best 12 rebounds.
 
UC Irvine will also make its way to the Pacific Northwest to take on Pac-12 member Washington (Nov. 17) and Seattle U (Nov. 19), before closing out the first month of the season at home against Long Island University (Nov. 25).
 
The Anteaters make a return trip to the state of Washington for a single game against EWU on Dec. 1. They also head to Fresno State (Dec. 11), prior to hosting UTEP on Dec. 14. UCI has a quick turnaround as it is slated for back-to-back games against Southern Miss (Dec. 16) and Dartmouth (Dec. 17) in a tournament hosted by fellow Big West member Long Beach State. It will be UC Irvine's first meeting with both programs.
 
The 'Eaters will be back in the friendly confines of the Bren Events Center for their non-conference finale against Grand Canyon on Dec. 21.
