2022-23 Women’s Basketball Promotional Schedule

IRVINE, Calif. - UC Irvine women's basketball has eight promotions and theme nights scheduled for the remainder of their 14-game home slate.
 
The Anteaters start by hosting Kids Day in their next contest at the Bren Events Center on Wednesday, Dec. 14, as they are inviting local elementary schools to the 11 a.m. showdown against Westcliff.
 
The 'Eaters will also hold Islamic Community Day, K-pop Night, National Girls and Women in Sports Day, and Pride Night, in addition to their annual Breast Cancer Awareness and Black History Month games.
 
UC Irvine (5-1), which was receiving votes in the latest College Insider Women's Mid-Major Poll, is out to its best start since 2018-19. As of Dec. 6, UCI ranks fourth in the nation in steals per game (14.3), 11th in turnover margin (9.0) and 12th in turnovers forced per game (24.3).

Kids Day - Saturday, December 14 vs. Westcliff, 11 a.m.
Elementary schools are invited for a field trip to the 11 a.m. game.

Junior Anteater Friends & Family - Wednesday, Dec. 21 vs. Grand Canyon, 2 p.m.
Current Junior Anteater members receive four complimentary General Admission tickets.

Islamic Community Day - Saturday, Jan. 14 vs. CSUN, 2 p.m.
UCI Athletics is inviting mosques in the surrounding Irvine and Orange County area to the game. Please contact Bill Falk at falkb@uci.edu for more info and to RSVP.
 
K-pop Night - Thursday, Jan. 26 vs. Cal State Fullerton, 7 p.m.
Enjoy K-pop music and festivities. UCI students will receive light up ZOT sticks and Peter the Anteater photocards.
 
Breast Cancer Awareness Game - Thursday, Feb. 2 vs. UC San Diego, 7 p.m.
A portion of every ticket sold will go toward supporting the UCI Breast Health Center. Fans can also get pink wristbands at the game, courtesy of UCI Athletics. Please stay tuned for unique ticket link to purchase tickets to the game.
 
National Girls & Women in Sports Day - Saturday, Feb. 4 vs. Long Beach State, 1 p.m.
UCI Athletics will hold a free camp before the game and those who participate will receive complimentary admission to the game. Please stay tuned for an RSVP link for the clinic as well as for the game.
 
Pride Night - Wednesday, Feb. 15 vs. UC Santa Barbara, 7 p.m.
Fans will receive Pride wristbands along with other giveaways in collaboration with the UCI LGBT Resource Center.
 
Black History Month Game - Saturday, Feb. 25 vs. Hawai'i, 2 p.m.
Join UCI women's basketball in celebrating Black History Month.
