LOS ANGELES - The UC Irvine men's tennis team wrapped up the LMU Invitational, and its fall season, Sunday at LMU Tennis Center.

The Anteaters closed out the three-day tournament with singles matches against host Loyola Marymount and doubles action against Utah.

In singles, Rithvik Krishna and Ali Amiri completed a perfect 3-0 weekend. Krishna dispatched Toky Ranaivo, 6-3, 6-2, while Amiri also won in straight sets, defeating Emin Torlic, 6-4, 6-4. Both Krishna and Amiri dropped only one set in three matches.

UCI took two of its three doubles contests against the Utes. Amiri teamed up with Thomas Smart to outlast Rian Ta/Geremia Rossi, 7-5. It was the Anteater duo's second victory of the weekend. Krishna and Enrique Luque Rico contributed their first win together, cruising to a 6-2 triumph over Dylan Applegate/Charles Spina.

UC Irvine will be back in action in January for the dual match season. The Anteaters are set to open the 2023 campaign at USC (Jan. 22) before hosting LMU in their home opener on Feb. 4.
