LA JOLLA, Calif. –
Onye Ofoegbu and Campbell Jensen were impressive in UC Irvine's 3-0 victory over UC San Diego at the LionTree Arena Thursday night.
Ofoegbu led UCI with 13 kills and six total blocks (2 solo and 4 assisted). With her four assists, the middle blocker moved into a tie for ninth in UCI season block assists with 105.
Jensen posted a career-high 32 digs, tied for fourth most in the Big West this season. The libero also had an ace and three set assists. The freshman leads the Big West with a 4.85 dig average. Â
The Anteaters improve to 16-9 overall and 9-6 in the Big West. UCSD falls to 12-15 on the year and 5-10 in league contests.
